Pack of Primed Canvases (1 canvas per class) – Instructor uses 8” x 10”,  9” x 12” or 11"x 14".    

Inexpensive Watercolor Pad

 

Acrylic Paints: heavy body or fluid acrylic paints (Instructor uses Golden Fluid Acrylic Paints in set of 10, but other brands such as Amsterdam or Liquitex may be used. Bring what you have if you’ve painted before.)        

Titanium White

Benzimidazolone Yellow Medium or Cadmium Yellow       ***Bring Your Favorite Colors even if not on the list.  😊

Pyrrole Red or Naphthol Red                                                       (We will learn to mix colors, too)

Yellow Ochre or Yellow Oxide

Flat Plastic Palette with Lid (like a Stay Wet Palette) or Paper Plates or Palette Paper to mix Paint

Brushes:  Variety Pack of Synthetic and Bristle Brushes for Acrylic Paint (Instructor uses short handles)

  Or, Simply Simmons or Zen brand brushes suggested:

Synthetic Flat Brushes – ¼”, ½”, ¾”

Synthetic Filbert Brushes – 2, 4, 6 

Synthetic Round Brushes – 0, 2, 4, 6 or larger 

Liner brush or Rigger brush – 1 or 2

Bristle brushes – at least 1 1” or size 12 (good for painting background on canvas)

Any older brushes that you may have
